We believe the Bible is God’s written revelation to man. The 66 books comprising the Old and New Testaments were inspired by God in every word and is therefore absolutely infallible and inerrant. Thus the Bible is our ultimate and final authority for faith and practice.

We believe there is only one living and true God, an infinite eternally existent all-knowing Spirit, perfect in all attributes. We believe that within the unity of the Godhead there exists 3 persons—God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit who are co-eternal and coequal in essence yet distinct in existence.

We believe Jesus Christ is the Eternal Son of God possessing both absolute deity and perfect humanity. In coming to earth virgin born, He voluntarily set aside the independent use of some of His divine attributes. He willingly accepted the essential characteristics of humanity without losing any degree of deity. He was fully God and fully man living a sinless life to ultimately sacrifice it as our a sin-bearing substitute on the cross of Calvary for all who would believe. He rose bodily from the dead 3 days later from the grave, ascended to heaven and is coming again.

We believe the Holy Spirit to be a divine person (equal in essence with the Father and the Son) actively involved in the world, restraining evil, convicting the lost of sin, bearing witness to the truth of the gospel, acting as the Agent of the new birth, guiding, teaching, sealing, sanctifying and empowering believers for holy living and faithful service.

We believe man was created directly by God and made in the image and likeness of God. However, by willful choice Adam fell from his sinless and joyous state. As a result, all mankind are partakers of Adam’s fallen nature and are sinners at birth. That sinful, totally depraved nature shows itself in thought, word and deed. Thus, all men incur the just condemnation of God resulting in both spiritual and physical death.

We believe all men are in need of salvation from their sins’ rightful eternal punishment. We believe that salvation is wholly of God by grace, on the basis of the redemptive work of Christ on the cross who shed His blood in sacrificial death, received by faith, not on the basis of human merit or works. In short, we believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.

We believe that with the new birth comes evidence of new life, that gradually over time the believer in Jesus Christ manifests distinctive qualities of a Christlike life growing in righteousness and true holiness. Although we acknowledge the battle all Christians have with sin and temptation and we recognize that the degree of spiritual growth will vary with each individual, we believe that evidence of new life will exist in each truly born again Christian.

We believe in the everlasting life of the saved with the Lord and in the everlasting punishment of the lost in Hell.
